Buckingham Palace issues unapologetic statement after Prince Harry attack

In a swift reaction to ‘s recent interview with the BBC, Buckingham Palace has issued a rather succinct statement, following a court decision that dismissed the duke’s appeal about his security arrangements in the UK.

The ruling, which arrived today, came after Harry challenged a previous verdict made by High Court judge Sir Peter Lane back in February of the previous year.

This earlier decision concluded that the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) acted correctly when it withdrew Harry’s high-level police protection while he’s on British soil.

The appellate court, comprising Sir Geoffrey Vos, Lord Justice Bean, and Lord Justice Edis, stood firm in its dismissal of Harry’s appeal.

Immediately afterward, Harry, now 40, sat down for an interview in California, where he shared his frustration over the ruling and suggested that his father, , could have intervened to help sort out the matter.

In the course of the interview, Harry alleged that his security permissions were intentionally downgraded back in 2020 as a means to coerce him and his wife, , into remaining within the royal family.

He stated, “Everyone was aware that they were putting us in danger in 2020, hoping that the anxiety of that would bring us back.

But when that didn’t pan out, shouldn’t there have been a stronger effort to ensure our safety?”

Responding to Harry’s assertions during the BBC segment, a spokesperson from Buckingham Palace maintained that these matters have been meticulously scrutinized by the courts on multiple occasions, consistently arriving at the same conclusion each time.

Interestingly, the Palace chose not to delve into Harry’s remarks regarding his father, a decision that perhaps hints at the sensitive nature of their current relationship.

During the interview, Harry revealed that he is not currently in touch with and expressed uncertainty about the duration of that silence.
