Jack Nicholson’s fling with Meryl Streep

A new biography titled “Nicholson” by author Marc Eliot is making waves with its sensational claims about the personal life of legendary actor Jack Nicholson.

The book, set to be released on November 7th in Canada, includes some juicy details about an alleged on-set affair between Nicholson and his “Ironweed” co-star Meryl Streep.

According to excerpts published by The Daily Mail, the biography alleges that Nicholson and Streep’s passion was so intense during the filming of their 1987 drama that Jack’s trailer was “balanced on four overworked Slinkys.”

This supposed fling took place while Nicholson was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Anjelica Huston and also seeing actress Veronica Cartwright.

“As soon as it began, rumours exploded like wild mushrooms that something was going on between Jack and his co-star,” Eliot writes.

“There had been talk that the two had grown unusually close, but both denied it.

Jack was in a bit of a bind, as he was actively, if secretly, still seeing Cartwright.”

The book even quotes an unnamed source who told a reporter at the time that “whatever is going on inside that Winnebago it’s starting to get out of hand, to the point where it’s embarrassing a lot of people on the set.” But the revelations don’t stop there.

Eliot, who has penned biographies of other Hollywood icons like Steve McQueen and Clint Eastwood, also delves into Nicholson’s wild lifestyle and drug use.

He claims the actor was a “chronic drug user” who experimented with cocaine, LSD, and marijuana.

Jack’s experiences with LSD were apparently life-changing, with the actor believing he had seen the face of God and having “castration fantasies, homoerotic fear fantasies, and revelations about not being wanted as an infant” while tripping.

The biography also paints Nicholson as an even bigger womanizer than notorious ladies’ man Warren Beatty.

The two actors allegedly nicknamed each other based on their prowess, with Nicholson dubbing Beatty “Master B” for his ability to bed women, while Beatty called Jack “The Weaver” for his storytelling skills.

At one point, Eliot claims Nicholson was juggling relationships with 19-year-old British actress Karen Mayo-Chandler, Veronica Cartwright, Anjelica Huston, the occasional Lakers cheerleader and “possibly” Meryl Streep. Quite the juggling act!

Despite the salacious details, Nicholson and Streep have remained close friends over the years.

In a recent TV appearance, Streep even chose Jack as the one she’d “shag” in a game of “Shag, Marry, Kill.”

While much of the book focuses on Nicholson’s colorful personal life, it also touches on his struggles with weight and the revelation in his late 30s that his “sister” June was actually his biological mother.

Close friends said he was “devastated and shocked” by the news.

As juicy celebrity tell-alls go, “Nicholson” seems poised to make a splash with its intimate, no-holds-barred look at the life of one of Hollywood’s most iconic and intriguing figures.

The 76-year-old Oscar winner’s talent is legendary, but this new biography aims to show that his off-screen antics were just as memorable.

Movie fans and gossip lovers alike will undoubtedly be eager to get their hands on a copy and immerse themselves in the wild world of Jack Nicholson.
