According to The New York Times, an insider disclosed that after Kate publicly revealed her cancer diagnosis in March, both Markle and Harry reached out to her.
The source noted, “Meghan is particularly keen to present herself as the bigger person and resolve any animosity between them — showcasing herself as a royal savior could greatly enhance her public image.”
The couple hopes that as Kate returns to her duties, it might ease the scrutiny on them and bring about a reconciliation with both her and Prince William, as well as the King.
Reports indicate that during Harry’s brief trips to London, he has only seen his father once in February 2024, and has not met with any other family members.
His visits, including a three-day stay in May and another in early April for legal hearings, involved no interactions with his estranged brother or sister-in-law.
