Queen Camilla Is Sick With Chest Infection

Queen is grappling with a chest infection and will skip several scheduled events this week, as confirmed by Buckingham Palace.

This unexpected illness has led to her canceling appointments and engagements while she focuses on recovery.

According to an official statement, “Her Majesty The Queen is currently unwell with a chest infection, for which her doctors have advised a short period of rest.”

The palace added that although this has caused disappointment, the Queen remains hopeful about attending the important Remembrance weekend festivities.

The Queen, who is 77 years old, won’t be present at the annual Field of Remembrance event held at Westminster Abbey on Thursday, November 7th.

Instead, Birgitte, the Duchess of Gloucester, will stand in for her and carry on with the tradition of honoring fallen soldiers.

In addition to missing the Field of Remembrance, Queen has also withdrawn from a planned reception at Buckingham Palace alongside .
